June 2019 essay combining historical research with analysis of Iran revolution and the Khomeini regime’s deepest vulnerabilities, reflected in its decades-long campaign to demonize and impair the MEK and NCRI, whose rejection of religious tyranny called into question both the political and religious legitimacy of Khomeini’s constitution from its inception. The essay shows that factually incorrect historical narratives about the MEK and NCRI have been manufactured and promoted in the West, with much success, by the regime as one core effort in support of its primary objective: to retain power in Iran. Foreword by Professor Ivan Sascha Sheehan.
